JSU at 1pm

Whatever happened to playing August and September games at night whenever possible? This was the last position I ever heard form the GTAA.

This is another big game that night at the GA Dome and the Braves are at home at 7 pm also. Although it hasn't been stated, wouldn't be surprised if the
City of Atlanta didn't request the game be played earlier in the day.

Does six extra hours(the difference between playing at 1 vs. 7) really make a big difference in the players' bodies come Thursday? Asking as an honest question, I don't know.

Yes. 99 hours of rest is better than 91. Especially with a short week of practice against a very talented rival opponent. I think the 6 hours preparation time is more important for the coaches than the 6 hours rest for the players though. Clemson has new coordinators and QB. The staff will be up at dawn breaking down Clemson's game from the night before. If we played at night most of the coaches probably wouldn't be in bed until around 2am. Then to be back at the Edge center at 6am would be tough.

To be honest, I dont know if I'm more excited about us opening up against JaxSt. or the inevitable @ss whooping I believe Ok St. is gonna put on UGAy. That offense is awesome. No way UGAy can keep up.

I wouldn't bet on it. The big12 hasn't fared too well against the sec, and i don't think that'll change next year.

But even so the main thing that has been said was the weakness of Big 12 defenses, which was true. However, in the case of a shootout Ok St has a more potent offense than Georgia, especially after that pure mediocre performance in the spring game. Also, don't forget that Ok St's defense is now led by Miami's D coordinator from last year who, against generic offenses, was pretty good and you won't need a great defense to stop Georgia first game of the season, if they don't stop themselves for you.

I don't think OkSU will run over UGay like you guys are projecting.

I don't think they'll be run over, though it might happen. I think it'll be fairly close till someone has a turnover and the other goes up by over a touchdown.

If the game was the 2nd or third game, then I think OSU wins big. But offenses take a little while to get going and I think UGA's stoutness will win the day or at least keep it very close.

Like the kind of stoutness they showed in the second half against us?
