In this hypothetical situation final score is 22-19 with Butker scoring 15 of 22 points the game tying FG, a long GW, and a Super Bowl record. Mahomes likely has about 250 and 40 passing and rushing with the one bad INT. It would be hard to argue against.
 
Butker is an absolutely wonderful representative of the Institute.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that Harrison is a devout Catholic, is active in the Knights of Columbus (a Catholic men's volunteer/service organization), and has donated a ton of money to the Georgia Tech Catholic Center. Effectively, the Church on campus would not exist if it wasn't for, first Bobby Cremins, and later Harrison Butker.

Fish on Friday.

Plus, my HS GF was a Catholic. Didn't believe in premarital sex or birth control. She was pretty weak on the first one, but I helped out by not making it a 2/2 sin on the second.

Depends on who they had instead. Probably not many more if they have Justin Tucker. Which is obviously fantastic company to be in.

Building a HOF resume? I think Morten Andersen is the only modern kicker in, but Vinatieri is sure to join him along with Tucker. If he duplicates the first 7 years of his career in the back half of his career, you have to think he has a good shot given all the playoff and SB records he would own.

Is he in the GT HOF yet?

I don't think he is in GT HoF -- he was a pretty late bloomer. Kicked all four years but didn't reach 75% until his senior year. Below 65% sophomore and junior years.

Of course his senior season more than makes up for that from a fan standpoint.

I believe he would be eligible for the GT Hall of Fame by virtue of being the all time leading scorer, criteria 13. https://ramblinwreck.com/hall-of-fame-selection-procedures/. The previous record holder, Luke Manget, is in, so I expect Butker to be inducted, as well.
