I don't think its stupid. I think Eric Berry is a great player, and could be deserving of the award (only time will tell). Just because it has not been done before doesn't mean anything. Also, Kiffin is going to get Berry and UT some good publicity just by throwing Berry's name into the Heisman hunt. Kiffin does a lot of stupid things, but this is not one of them.

Minimum 4 picks returned for TDs, at least two of which must be on national TV. Also, Tennessee must win the SEC. Some special teams plays wouldn't hurt either.

I think he definitely needs a couple pic-sixes, maybe 6 or 7 int's, but most importantly UT needs to be good, and compete for an SEC title.

He would have to do all of that, plus he would have to stand-up then push back Tebow at the goal line in OT to win the UF-UT game for Tennessee.

Anything less and no Heisman.

would also help if he lined up on offense for a few plays and made an impact ala woodson in 97

he won't have the acrobatics that woodson had as a corner but if he lays some more folks out like he did knowshon last year, it could make up for that
