You know at one point I had considered ESPN to be at least the closest one to some sort of recruiting ranking system (even if it was still pretty bad). Looks like they finally caved to popular demand and, given the relationship that was already there, probably just use a tinkered with version of Scout.com's lists.

I already know it's meaningless but it still pisses me off when every single player of Georgia's "ESPN 150 Watch List" is in the 150 and none of ours are. Less so because of the actually meaning of the rankings (though I'd still point out that Dwyer, Morgan and Burnett were in that 150 and they seem to be working out, so how do we judge that?) but because of the mountain of **** talking that gets thrown our way because of them.

turned it off after 30 seconds. 30 seconds i'lll never get back

ESPN is not affiliated with Scout.com. ESPN is affiliated with Scouts Inc. they are not the same enitity but it is confusing.

Good to know.
Is there some relation between Scout.com and Scouts Inc. ?

No there is no relation.

To put ESPN's rankings in perspective, they only have 12 5* players. Scout.com on the other hand has 50 5* players.

Yeah, but this new change just makes it easier for me to realize that ESPN isn't really that different in recruiting rating than anybody else in terms of closest to accurate.
