Transparency with King status

What is the status with King? There is no strategic benefit to hiding his status if he's just going to be out every game.

To date I've heard only two things:
-He's day to day
-Not a season ending injury.

Ok, so what is it? Another week? 4 more weeks? I can't remember a coach hiding every detail of an injury like this. We will not win another game without king, so let's at least be transparent about it.

The strategic benefit is that the other team doesn't know which QB to prepare for, and the very fact that you are making a post because not knowing his status is annoying demonstrates why it is a good idea.

play college fantasy football. you will learn that there is no mandatory imjury reporting like NFL. its the wild west in that regard.

It would only apply to the team doctors and trainers that provide healthcare services to King. They would need a signed release in place to tell the coaches anything. The coaching staff would not be covered entities and can tell anyone anything they want (unless GTAA royally screwed up the contracts).
 
Maybe we shouldn't have played Philo that one series against VMI. If he plays from here on out he won't be able to redshirt this season.

Could you imagine if ND and VT actually prepared for the correct QB?
 
ESPN reported yesterday that per source, he was out for VT, but progressing well and expected back for Miami.

What is a redshirt but an opportunity to sit our early in a year to transfer?
