Da U Is Not Back

I doubt this article is fact-base (i.e., it is probably spam), but I sure hope it's true

I hope it's not true that Cristobal was cursing out officials for flagging an obviously dangerous hit. I don't know why you would hope that's true.

Given that this is the same site that completely made up a story about him calling the game rigged, I'm very confident that this one is made up as well.

The story you are referring to did not originate on this site. I saw it first on FB, where it was appropriately questioned. But other than the opinions of most (including me) that it was indeed spam, I have never seen an actual refutation of it, nor the one I posted (with a disclaimer) today. I don't hope it's true that he cursed out officials for the hit; I hope he gets nailed for allowing so many similar dangerous hits.

Okay, here is a refutation:

It says the NCAA fined Cristobal.
However I cannot find any communication from the NCAA about this.

It says that Cristobal's words towards the officials have ignited a media firestorm. However, I cannot find any other media covering this.

It provides quotes from multiple analysts about the fine. However, when I Google this quotes and those analysis I cannot find any other record of them saying those things.

@Supersize that order mutt a good rule of thumb when you see an article that seems like it may not be true is just to Google and see if anyone else is reporting it.

If something like this happened there is a 100% chance that other, more legitimate news sites would be picking it up.

I thought both stories were so ridiculous that I didn't think it was worth my time to do any research I saw them both on FB, and I thought they were funny enough, stupid enough, in fact, to post them here. I'm sorry some of you took them both so seriously that you didn't get a laugh our of them, but chose instead to the person who posted them. That's like saying that someone who posts an article from the Babylon Bee is posting false information, when everything they post is clearly satire and made to laugh at.

I saw the exactly same article posted on FB as the one you posted last week but it was about UT criticizing the officials in the UGA game. Words were all the same and everything.

I think the point here is that most people find it stupid rather than funny. To each his own I guess.

Ah, I'm not sure that message came across -- when you said it was probably spam but hoped it was true I didn't realize that you know it was fake and you were posting it for people to laugh about.

My bad.

Don’t worry about it, STOM. I also saw both articles on FB and LOLd. Also debated posting them here for the fun of it, but well… you see this crowd tends to be too serious at times.
