Biggest question: The offense, can it carry the team with a new O-line?

Off the radar: Look out for the D. Watch for Tarrant, he is mature and a good pure cover guy.

Turning point: VT game.

Prediction: 10-2 for 14th in the nation. (Doh, Herbstreit just said we are on the road at VT)

So are they assuming we are going to the ACC-CG or not?

10-2 for 14th means either we lost late or there are a lot of teams doing pretty darn good.

We were 9-3 last season and ranked about the same or higher, from the top of my head.

Well I agree with them. If our O-line blocks well, there is nothing stopping us from going undefeated besides injuries and turnovers. But on the other side of the coin, if our O-line does mediocre, we will have an 8-4 to 9-3 season. I know that HD and some others are saying they have concerns with our D-line, but I am not as concerned with any area of our defense as I am with our O-line. We can have mediocre to sub-par defense and get by just fine if our O-line can hit their blocks. I hope the best for those big guys.

According to most pundits, the only ACC schools not to do well are BC and Duke. To hear them, we better be ready for every team we play.

I tend to agree... the only easy games I see on the schedule are JSU, Duke, and MSU. Plus UVA in theory, but I am not ready to say winning there is "easy".

You saw what MSU did to UF though, right? I'm still not calling that one a gimme. UNC is looking easier every day with the losses they keep having on the OL. Sure their D is stout, but a horrid OL will keep them out of the endzone. That said, ask Michigan about taking a team lightly.

Ole Miss was the team to beat UF last year not MSU.

They don't rank according to their predicted records. Boise State was picked to finish undefeated and was ranked 15th in their poll.

I don't think espn or HD follows GT very closely. I really think we are going to put a lot of points up and have a lot of lopsided victories this year. I know its hard to go undefeated but just can't help thinking we're gonna do it. Maybe I'm just seeing everything through gold glasses.

we'll have a let down game.

one that may not really be a let down (@FSU, ugag) but a let down nonetheless. it's just going to be too hard to run this gauntlet w/o avoiding injuries or making too many mistakes in a game.

Please dont let it be FSU or UGA I am enjoying bragging rights way to much on those assholes.
