I agree, but the difference is not that vast. One would hope NIL would level the playing field, but the largest spenders are coming from the “Big 2”.

I’m curious if an offer in the same realm + more passing looks would sway him back. I remember a GT WR or two that had hall of fame careers, and one of them played in an option offense. If you’re good enough to play at the highest level, the NFL will find you.

I mean he’s already called the best WR in the portal. He clearly does not need additional notoriety. He needs a very small amount of refinement.

Amarrean Brown left for that reason. USuCk was gonna get him into the league. Instead, a USuCk degree is gonna have to get him a J-O-B
 
He will never be seen again by us so I don't care. I don't resent him either. He probably isn't tearing up his business degree curriculum here anyway so the difference in degrees is nothing. He will do alright. They will probably have a decent QB.
 
But it wasn't about money right? He just happened to go where the most prominent portal transfers end up. I don't begrudge him but it is all about the dollars. Whoops - may be fake news upon further reading.

He's leaving for the $. They all leave now for the $. The next time I see a recruit enter the transfer portal and take less $ for a degree or playing time, then you guys can help me get my jaw off the floor.

Starters yes, which is a tiny percentage of the players in the portal.

I've been to campus, but not during a game. It is unimpressive. What I am supposed to be seeing that is so charming there?
