I think GT has some of the best traditions when it comes to football.
1. The Wreck - Gotta be the coolest mascot/symbol/whatever to lead a team into their stadium. Maybe tied with Colorado, a freakin buffalo is pretty cool, Texas too. I love the horn when it rides by the tailgaters.
2. Buzz - Sure he is a cartoony, oversized yaller jacket, but come on, who doesn't love him. I like how he is kinda goofy, which is a little odd compared to many schools who try to make tough mascots.
3. Whistle - How great is that sound while you are walking up Bobby Dodd Way (especially after the FSU game)
4. Fight Song - Every year a webpage, tv program, etc. ranks fight songs and every year we are near the top. Drinking, girls, jolly good fellows, what more need you?
5. White and Gold (song) - Uber-catchy (yes i said that). Droppin' battle axes!
6. White and Gold (colors) - White is awesome for colors. Think Miami at night with the skyline around BDS. Awesome.
7. The band - Put On still blows my mind.
8. Rat Caps - I never went to Tech (but I hope to for Grad school) but I drove through campus the other day and all the frosh were out and about and they were wearing them. I didn't know that was still going on. Awesome again.
9. BDS - Small, yes. Loud, yes. Best backdrop in college football.
10. Tech Tower - Sweet building, can see it from many great spots in ATL, shares my last name.
11. Budweiser Song - Back in the day we played Dixie, I think Dodd had that changed. That would have been cool, but the Bud song is sweet. Love Buzz during it.

12. The Good Word - Visting fans can only pick out 2 lines of the fight song, "Hell of an Engineer" at the end and "To Hell with Georgia!" Great line. Not "we hate georgia, beat georgia, we are better than georgia, etc., but TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!" Strong.
13. Zombie Nation - The sound of everyone singing before the Wreck rolls out is pretty darn cool. Yes, I know every other school does it.
14. O Fortuna - The new intro to White and Gold, kinda givesya chills, and then the slow section of the fight song before white and gold. Touche, band.
