NFL Draft

Haynes King first round 2026

So... does Shedeur have the option to return to Colorado?

He's undrafted after 3 rounds. FIVE QB's selected ahead of him so far.

Cam Ward
Jaxson Dart
Tyler Shough
Jalen Milroe
Dillon Gabriel

Looks like NFL scouts and owners aren't interested in the Sanders circus. Don't blame them. His stock has fallen so far he may actually be able to earn more money back in Colorado. I guess they'd have to unretire that jersey. :)

What number would he wear? ‍:lol:

No.

Unless he sues the NCAA and wins.

If Shedeur goes back to Colorado, it's going to be pretty awkward choosing a new number. I heard they retired the #2. :dunno:

Very interesting.

"One longtime NFL assistant coach said his time with Sanders was "the worst formal interview I've ever been in in my life. He's so entitled. He takes unnecessary sacks. He never plays on time. He has horrible body language. He blames teammates. ... But the biggest thing is, he's not that good."

I expect he will get a shot in some capacity as a late round pick. Even undrafted players can make their way into the NFL should he go completely undrafted. That would be shocking but not at all out of the realm of possibility at this point given the kinds of things being said about his interviews.

It is interesting that Travis Hunter was selected so high and Primetime's son is still undrafted.

Two major differences:

1) Hunter is a consensus elite talent, and while few would say Shadeur is not good, even fewer would say he's elite.

2) In all the interviews I've seen with Hunter and the things I've read about him, he comes off very well. Confident, sure, but not in a ridiculous or offputting way. Shadeur...well.... And he plays a position where leadership is a huge deal.

We'll see if he goes undrafted...but I wouldn't be at all surprised if the NCAA bends over backwards to let him return to Colorado. $$$ Money talks.

Given that college football has been in bizarro world for several years now, not much would surprise me at this point.

I'm just leave this here for no good reason:

Haha. Hey, Deion, you were right. He went in the top 5! Oh, you meant top five picks, not rounds? OOOPS.
