Don't forget one recovered fumble against Georgia.

he laid a block in the uga game on a midline option that was nasty. i think he'll eventually start this year at a-back, and i think it'll be a good thing. the guy blocks extremely well, especially for his size, might be the fastest guy on the offensive side of the ball, and has decent hands. he will be HUGE to the team next year IMO

I love Marcus as much as the next guy but Marcus will not start. Roddy and Allen are too good. In fact Peeples is ahead of Wright.

not so sure allen will get much pt this year. if he doesnt block then cpj will not play him much no matter how good he runs the ball.

Who said Allen can't block? I've read good things about all facets (running, catching, blocking) of his game. He's like an animal that's been caged for too long, ready to explode.

Did you see the spring game or any of the fall scrimmages? Allen is the real deal. He is a starter.

For some reason or another, I remember seeing great blocks by Marcus but don't remember any plays where he was running full speed.

Toss play vs FSU. He showed his wheels off. I believe it was about a thirty yard run. He may be our best blocker though. He looked good in the spring game with the shovel passes.

Heh, the only thing I remember of the FSU game was the fumble and the recovery.

+1. Allen has been on campus for over a year. If he couldn't block, he wouldn't be #1 on the depth chart right now.
