If we can hold on to the damn ball, there will be no question about the outcome. The game gets close if we start coughing it up like against Jacksonville State. The only reason people are predicting a close game is because of the historical precedent, which, in my opinion, has absolutely no bearing on tonight's game.

I think it's sort of pathetic, but has anyone else noticed that ESPN still shows highlights from the '06 disaster in Death Valley--you know like in the intro videos? It's amazing how much they can cling to that game, even 3 years later.

Friends, the Atlanta Journal Constitution is a joke of the profession of journalism. Has been for 30 years.
