Nesbitt?????

He is a warrior I will give him that, but he cant pass at all. If he could pass just a little we would be almost unstoppable on offense. I still think Jaybo is the better QB for this offense.

He did step up and carry us down for a FG when we needed it.

Thank you for that comment. He actually led us to two field gola drives late.

As long as he wins I say we go with him. Maybe when we get Jaybo back and we can give him a couple of series.

Yeah let's wait a few weeks til Jaybo can play and see how he fares taking the kind of punishment Josh takes...after a couple of series, I think everyone would be pretty content to have Nesbitt taking the snaps. I'm pretty sure he's the starter for a good reason btw. I doubt CPJ has a man-crush on him.

So tell me this. Do you think we win against Miami or FSU if Josh has a night like he had tonight? I don't.

I don't either. But I also don't think we win with Shaw playing at all...and he can't right now anyway. If what you're saying is that Josh is going to average 2 ints a game and complete less than 25% of his passes on average, then yeah, that's not going to cut it. This is one game though. Let's not give the guy the same treatment that the Georgia fans are giving Cox right now.

Cox has high school passing skills.

Nesbitt has Pop Warner passing skills.

Nesbitt was not himself tonight. More obvious when watching the closeups on TV. Something seemed wrong with him. He looked like he might have even been a little sick or something.

I don't think Jaybo is the savior either, but who else do we have as an option when we have to pass the ball? I will admit some of my rant has been out of frustration, but we can not have another passing performance like we had tonight and expect to win.

I never considered the possibility that he could have been sick, god forbid it's H1N1

Nesbitt was a great passer in High School.
I made a couple of posts on the Hive that Nesbitt should throw more slant routes and post patterns and fewer sideline and seam routes.

Nobody believed me.

I have his high school recruiting video. He's not a drop back passer. He throws better on the run than standing still and he's better when the receiver is crossing his line of vision.

Because he is the one who dropped passes and made bad throws?!?

No, because HE is the one who decided to pass on 3rd and short many times this game and not go for it on 4th and 1, but take a delay of game instead.

Sorry, I call em like I see em. I watched this game with a group of people (not affiliated with GT) and they all were saying the same thing.
