We f'n won the game. I can't even imagine what it would be like on here if we would have lost. Was it the best looking win, no, but it was an ACC win. You take conference wins any way you can get them. I know everyone on here would have taken guaranteed 30-27 win 2 days ago.

People are just upset we lost a 24-0 lead and almost lost the game entirely and the fact that our offense was very off tonight. It's just a few hours after the game, though. People will be alright after a few days.

Up 24-0, Im sorry if I think its a disappointment to win 30-27

I don't think it's that..... I think it's that were ahead 24-0 in the first quarter, and let Clemson come back and almost steal the game. Kinda ****s with your head.

It's bad, but it's one (and only one) game too early to throw us 6 feet down yet. We will see next week and we'll find out where this team is capable of going.

Yeah, it's not good to lose a 24 point lead. It is great that we won, however. A win is a win, no matter how we get it.

We only scored 16 points on offense and our defense gave up 27.

This game was a typical close rivalry game. It was on national tv and CU came in well prepared with some very good talent. We made the plays when needed and were fortunate to come out on top. Everyone go to bed now. Look at CPJ's winning %, we'll be okay.

It was a good win against a probable bowl team. However, we were at home and the offense was anemic for the most part. There are signs that trouble could be brewing as we were unable to sustain drives and control time of possession. That's probably the biggest problem the defense had - being stuck on the field too much and wearing down.

So you're disappointed that we won? You are a great fan.

No, he's disappointed that we had a 24 point lead, lost it and even got behind three points, didn't score any TD once after first quarter, and managed to only win because of two field goals.

This was a mirror image of Calvin's coming out party, except our O didn't fold at the end.

Clemson got down big early, but kept plugging away until their playmakers starting coming alive. Give Clemson's defense a lot of credit. They played a great game, but they couldn't adjust on the last two drives to stop Nesbitt. They even gave up the long pass in the seam of their 2 deep coverage when it counted most.

So you're disappointed that we won? You are a great fan.
Come on, don't be that guy. Nobody is disappointed that we won. We're just worried that we didn't play very well outside of the 1st quarter. People have some valid concerns.

Guess it sucks for you then that this is a team game in which points scored by special teams and defense count in the final tally. Our TEAM was 3 points better than the guys in purple.

Don't get me wrong. I'm disappointed we had to come from behind after being up in the game and that our offense was stuffed by Clemson for a large portion of the game. But sometimes the other guys have talented football players who play a good game and you need contributions in all three phases of the game and we got just enough to win. I'll celebrate that while recognizing that we need some serious work to be successful the rest of the year.

Clemson has great talent, in fact they could be the most talented team we face this year as far as athleticism goes.

It was a hard fought win, I would have liked a blow out of epic proportions, but this is why we play the games. (No relation to Herm Edwards)

At about 5:30 Thursday night, it dawned on me that Clemson and Dabo must be regarding this as a signature game for their program. ACC opener, national TV, away against a hated rival who beat them last year, first full year for Dabo, chance to reverse the Bama debacle from last year, etc. Then they came out in purple and I was sure it was a "signature" game for them. When they got up 27-24, I thought oh ****, they're going to get it.

But maybe it'll be a signature for us: nearly throw away a game, but come back and win it. That's a championship sig.

Nesbitt's play really concerns me. When you have almost as many interceptions as you do completions, someone has a lot of work to do. Plus, our secondary needs to improve drastically, as Miami's passing game looks better than Clemson's.

Thank God for the special teams!!!

1. Clemson's a very talented team. Especially on D, but on O, too. Anyone else glad that Spiller and Ford are gone?
2. Jumping out to a big lead quickly messes with your head. If we had come from 10 down to win that game in the 4th, 30-27, we'd all be jubilant.
3. Over 400 yards offense, and over 300 yards rushing is not in any way a mediocre game.
4. Passing so much instead of letting Nesbitt run the ball more was (IMHO) the first real strategic mistake I've seen PJ make. I know we had to pass, but we overdid it. The mid-line and keeper was open all night.
5. A conference win is a conference win. The elite teams win these games all the time. No shame in that.
