Alright guys, I think we need to lay off Nesbitt just a bit here.
He had a bad game yesterday...yes.
But this is the same QB who led the blowout last year vs. UM with two bum ankles. This is the same QB who led the comeback at UGA.
This was his first real challenge this year and it is only his what 11th, 12th start? He's got to work on an few of the QB fundamentals, such as throwing it out instead of throwing into coverage to force something.
Further, last night on one play he had the first down and then some if he would have just ran it out, but instead he passed to Peeples I think and it was covered and incomplete and then it was 4th down.
Just a few mechanics to get down.
Now, all that said, Nesbitt did not quit on us. He came through at the end just like he did last year. Team has resolve unlike the teams under Gailey and last night is the perfect example.
My voice is gone, I am tired as hell, and I have a bounce to my step this morning.
Yep, there was a game at old Bobby Dodd Stadium last night!
