If Duke, UNC, WF lose today, I think our SOS will take a big dive, mostly in computers. Still, I am having trouble rooting for ACC, I am in the mood when you are watching a disaster unfold on TV and somehow you root for the disaster, I guess because it's something to get excited about :P

I didn't mention UVA because they are expected to lose anyway..

I cant see UNC losing.. they may have an awful 1st half but they were slow to start last week too they will pick it up and win an ugly game.. .WF and Duke look like dogs@#%^

Let's wait and see what the U does against OU and FSU does against BYU. I think the ACC wins both games. We have to win our games most of all.

Did i just hear piped in church bells for wake on a 3rd down ?

Thats just gay.

SOS means nothing to us at this point - if we take care of our own business, we'll be fine. I'm worried about how we're going to get through the stretch of games that includes @Miami, UNC, @Miss St, @F$U and VT.

good point, I forgot about that getting excited about how terrible ACC is looking :)

But I think SOS will matter some if we arrive to bowl stage with 2-3 losses. For example, with 1-2 losses, we could make it as an at-large BCS bid, but not with this SOS.

with 1-2 losses I find it hard to believe we wont be in Jacksonville...but anyway Cal in 2004 is the only team from a BCS conference to have a 1 loss season and not get an at large bid. That year Utah got an automatic bid so Texas got the only at large pick(there were only 4 bowls that year). A 1-2 loss season, we will get an at large birth, assuming we beat the mutts because how you finish the season matters.

MSU is a joke so that's not one to worry about. UNC is starting to show signs of the old - plus CPJ owes Butch one for last year. Out of Clemson, UM, UNC, F$U, VPI, uga I had hoped to take 4. Clemson was one. UNC is looking more like #2 (literally today), so we would only need to split UM,F$U,VPI,uga to have a 10-win season.

But yes, I know, one game at a time. Right now we control out own destiny. Next Thursday we need to keep that as our status.

Wake Forest appears to have just beaten Stanford with a QB sneak into the endzone with 2 seconds to go. They nearly screwed themselves and sent it to overtime.
