And by good you mean their D gave up 37 or something? People seem to forget defense is a HUGE part of the game! You should be just as scared if the final was 6-3 in the UM-FSU game. And by scared I mean who the hell knows after 1 or 2 weeks of play.

I don't think many programs in the last 30 years have been as consistently good as Miami. In fact, only Nebraska and FSU rank ahead of them in winning percentage over that span. The last 3 years have been very atypical for them.

You could also say that we gave up 17 to JSU, whereas FSU only gave up 9. Yes I know we pulled our starters, but still. So if UM scored all those points against FSU, how many will it score against us? This is why I find the logic ridiculous. We can't make stats say whatever we want. As you correctly said, it is too early to know.

The average UGA fan, ie the guy in double-wide who's maybe ventured out of his county once and has never been to a game, probably isn't smarter than the average Miami fan. Probably. The fans who actually attend UGA games are far and away smarter than the Vanilla Ice holdovers from when "da U" dominated.
