Tarrant is the nation's leader in punt return yards (172), punt return TDs (nobody else has 2), longest punt return (85), and is 7th in the nation in yards per return (19.1).

http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/returning/sort/puntReturnYards

Some other stats:

Tech is 4th in the nation in rushing yards; 9th in yards per rushing attempt, but only 31st in rushing TDs.

We are 27th in the country in ypg (457.5), second best among teams in the ACC, behind only Miami who gained 476 yards in its only game.

he has 172 yards on 4 returns, that's 43 per unless they avg fair catches in as 0 which doesn't seem right

Seems that ESPN stats do factor in FCs but makes a note of how many FCs a returner has. Seems they could go the extra step of having an additional stat category for yards per return not counting FCs.

That dude is a great returner. He is letting some plays through on the secondary though, but our whole secondary has been doing that.

I've been very happy with the play of Tarrant. Remember this is his first real game experience in college football. The play he made on 3rd down against Spiller at the end of the game was awesome.

I think Tarrant will develop into a VERY good corner, and is already an amazing return man.

He made three Clemson players look foolish at the same time, without a GT blocker in sight. Of course that's assuming you could make anyone wearing solid purple look 'more' foolish.

he will be better in coverage as he progresses. it was a bit obvious that he was backed up a bit too much at times, prob still unsure of his quicks on the field

Tarrant will only improve. The last meaningful game he played in before this year was in high school, almost three years ago. He's part of the same recruiting class as Dwyer, Morgan, Burnett, etc.
