Great quote!

This going to be a huge game, but for some reason I saw more ads on ESPN for the Texas vs Texas Tech game than for our game on Thursday night.

Texas' fanbase is probably four times as big as ours and Miami's combined, especially when they're good. No amount of winning on our part will change that.

Yeah that's true. I have family in Austin. It's against the law to not like UT Austin over there. They were at my house the first weekend of cfb and were actually cheering and making baby whining noises when Bradford got hurt in OU's first game. Cheering when a talented player gets injured is taking football a little too seriously if you ask me.

I think what Jacory meant to say is that no one on this team has ever beaten Georgia Tech.

Man, that's a kid I'm not looking forward to playing against. He says all the right things. He's transformed a lot since our game last year.

Wow I should have finished reading the article before posting. This is the true gem out of it:

Randy Phillips said:
"Georgia Tech is going to face a different Miami team this year because we're going to be able to score at will," Phillips said. "They're going to have to answer. If they can't answer, they're going to have to throw the ball and that's what we want."

Posterboard material for Wommack if I've ever seen it.

I don't think F$U put any pressure on Jacory. He was only sacked once but didn't have any rushing yards so its not like he was scrambling. Sounds like he just sat in the pocket all night throwing bombs.

If we can pressure him then I think we'll be fine. We will need our DL to really step up.

Considering all the drama that came out of that game last year I'm not surprised.

Randy Shannon really need's to learn to keep his players away from the media like this! This is what inflates a team's high.

Do you think Paul Johnson would let his players to do this crap?

Yeah, what is all this about Shannon running a tight ship? Seems like all his boys want to do is talk s*** about their opponents and about how good they are. Same old U to me.

Oh I forgot, Da U is back in the Heezy after 1 game so it's ok for them to do so again.
