I just don't know how anyone can make an informed prediction on this game. GT and Miami are both young, evolving teams. They aren't like Florida, with the same Qb, scheme, players, etc. for the past few years.
We have one game to judge Miami. We have one real game to judge GT. Both teams won by a small margin. We won at home, they won away. We beat the better team, Clemson, they beat the worse team, FSU. Or so I think...
But the problem is that a one game history is useless. It's like saying that one cold day outside means we are going into an ice age. Look at our schedule last year. We were a pretty darn good team, 9-3. But if you picked just one game to judge us by and you pulled the UVA game or UNC game, you would have said that our team wasn't worth squat.
What I am getting at is that no one can make an informed prediction. You can't even say if it will be close. Miami could blow us out and I wouldn't be shocked. GT could blow Miami out and I wouldn't be shocked. It's that unpredictable.
All I know is that tonight I will be supporting our guys one way or another. I will cheer like a madman in my living room and my dogs will be looking at me like I'm a freak. It's football season, we have been waiting for this for MONTHS!! We may win and we may lose tonight. That's usually what happens when you play a football game. But either way, I am super excited because it's another football game.
I'm blessed to be alive and well so that I can watch our GT Yellow Jackets play. Go Jackets!!
