This time last year........

This time last year, we were also 2-1. If I recall correctly, we ended up having a pretty good year.
 
I fixed the data problems. Thanks guys. I dunno what was wrong with me. Anyway, we are 20 rushing ypg worse than last year.

So we definitely haven't improved offensively since last near.
 
This time last year..........

we rolled out against JSU and went on the road for a BIG Divisional Conference game that we lost

and had won against a Major NonDivisional Conference Opponent.

we' were all giddy (I do understand why) at the performance and ended up winning 9 games with a couple of games that should've been wins

I don't see why we're so pissed off. Have we looked great, NOPE, but it's still early and there is waaaaay too much upside.

We can turn this around.

I think there was a lot of niavety toward how we were going to be this year. A lot of us (and i was one of them as far as Offense) but I didn't realize how weak our OL play would be. But, I did realize the D was going to be a problem due to the MAJOR and I mean MAJOR losses on the Def Front

We never got crushed like we did on Thursday. It was a pretty demoralizing loss.

We weren't going to win them all. There's still at least 9 games left in this season, tis a bit early to write it off because of one bad loss.

I disagree with Kyle that the loss will ruin the season - it will not. I, as many people, expected to lose this one.

I'm just worried about the lack of offensive production that we saw.

Our goal was to go to the Orange Bowl. I don't think that's happening now. So yes, I'm writing off the season in that sense.
 
OH MY...I actually agree with you.

It's only demoralizing when you're a weak minded team which I don't think we are. I think we're a young team that knows what it takes to win and has to find it.

the only people demoralized are people like you Kyle. the folks that can't grasp the concept of 12 games being in a season. The folks that don't really understand the game of football and those that unlike you don't take it in the @$$

so you don't think we can beat VT, or anyone else on our schedule?

I think we can.

I also think that the U quite possibly could be back. I think that Miami could just as easily get lose to VT or Clemson or both.

You're negative outlook is the frustrating part.

If our team had your outlook on the season or possibly life in general, then we will be in for a long season

My bet is that they don't

I believe we can beat anyone on our schedule. I still have belief in that -- I just am not sure Miami will lose to anyone. You know how we were making fun of Harris's comment that they cannot be stopped? I am seriously wondering that. We shall see with their next 2 games.

But based on how Clemson D is roughing up BC, I am not as upset as I was about our offensive showing versus them. Their D is for real. And, just maybe, Miami's is as well.
