Tech drops out of AP poll

wow that's terrible, unbeaten UNC is not getting any respect either, they are behind 8 teams with a loss.

So now we're 2-1 with our only loss to a top 10 team.

We drop completely and Miami moves into the top 10 for beating us?

I'm seriously starting to lose faith. Although the hurt that FSU put on BYU probably helps Miami's 2-0 record look good.
 
Glad to see an ACC team in the top 10. I would've expected us to be 24 or 25 though.
 
Great!!! We haven't done crap this year! I gain some respect for the polls.

Miami looks great right now. They are the best rep for the ACC. I am glad they are in the top 10.

We're a top 25 team with CPJ. We'll always be. We're better when we have to play catch up.

I consider this to be great news.

It's because our game was on national TV so people actually watched it and can vote based on that, not just on the result. Same with Miami having both games on national TV and looking great in both of them.

Well at least its consistent. Oregon(ranked the same as us actually) got beat just as bad on a field that's known to be much harder to play on against a team that was ranked higher than Miami was and they dropped off the map.

Not so sure about that. Miami is back and I think they're definitely deserving of their rank after beating both us and then FSU on the road

Washington isn't bad either. They'd played well against LSU
 
Miami definitely deserves the top 10 ranking. By the way, I think FSU is getting completely hosed in their ranking. BYU is well ahead of them in both polls, following that blowout. BYU only got to the top 10 because of a freak accident to sam bradford.
 
Jeez, I expected us to get into the mid 20's, but not completely out. Oh well, maybe this can be a motivator to show the nation that we're good again.

Though, I thought that that would happen after the LSU lost. I guess I was wrong. Who knows when we finally put it together. Also, Washington is an up and coming team. They did very well against LSU after being a 0-12 team last year, and beat a third rank team yesterday.
 
It's too bad we fell out of the top 25, but we haven't once shown the heart to win a game. We let Clemson come back and Miami Did a pounding, and we also allowed Jacksonville State almost 300 yards of offense. I really hope this opens the players eyes.
