Not so sure about that. Miami is back and I think they're definitely deserving of their rank after beating both us and then FSU on the road
Washington isn't bad either. They'd played well against LSU
To be fair, we're first or second out of the poll...not much difference between that and 24th or 25th.We'll be fine, as DerrtyTree said, but I wonder why USC drops to right outside the top 10 after losing to a team that went winless last year, but we lose to a decent team and go completely unranked. I would have at least thought we would've been 24th or 25th. Let's just play, win, and the rest will fall into place. Go Jackets!
They've got one hell of a QB which is the main thing a college football team needs. Unless they have injuries, I'd take them right now, straight up against anyone on their schedule except OK. And given how they started the year, I might take them in that one too.I don't think Miami is going to turn out to be a top notch team, but we'll have to wait and see.
As for their wins against us and FSU, if the situation were reversed, i.e, we had our first two wins against FSU and Miami, I think we'd be crowing.
Damn, Miami moved into the top 10??
Wait, what?
So now we're 2-1 with our only loss to a top 10 team.
We drop completely and Miami moves into the top 10 for beating us?
I'm seriously starting to lose faith. Although the hurt that FSU put on BYU probably helps Miami's 2-0 record look good.
We don't deserve to be ranked. I'm glad we dropped out. We certainly don't look like a team that could (for instance) beat Georgia right now.
Can we beat anybody?
We can(and should) beat UNC at home.
