When CPJs first full class become RS-SO or JRs. I don't think that's happening until 2011 or 2012. I don't think this is a coaching issue, since Mike Sewak is over the OL. Between him and CPJ, there are no better instructors on how to block in the option.
The current guys have had almost 2 years of instruction in this offense, so I don't think they're going to magically "get it" next week. If we turn the corner earlier, it'll be because guys like Uzzi, McRae and Smith get it. The current starters do not have the physical talent to handle 300 lbs DLs.
Did Mike Sewak ever coach at the Naval Academy? I don't think that he did, but I might be mistaken.
Sewak stayed at Ga Sou as HC when Gailey left. I don't know where he was prior to joining the Tech staff, but don't think he was ever at Navy.Almost all the offensive assistants came over from Navy if I'm not mistaken.
We can be better this year, or at least at last year's level. I think we'll improve next year and be pretty strong the year after.Later this year?
2010?
2011?
My guess is we will see a slight improvement next year. Will Jackson, Antonio Foster, Ray Beno and Jay Finch will be getting some game experience next year. Most likely it will be 2011 before we are good IMO.
I'm not writing off this season yet, because I saw these guys play good at times last year.
I think that we will see a trend of volatile, week to week changes in "goodness" on the OL until PJ's recruits start to fill up the 1 and 2 deep.

NCJ-
Why do you think we are worse this year on the O line?Aren't 4 of those guys starters vs uga?(except for Bedford who beat-out Voss).
Seems strange?
