Early odds

Miami is going to destroy VaTech, unless Worlids goes crazy in the backfield on Jacory.

He's shown if he has time, he will tear up any defense. We have yet to see a game where he's been under any pressure, and I would like to see how he responds to pressure. That game should be a pick'em.

I like all of those favorites, including GT and VT.

I think VPI's defense will take down Jacory. It just doesn't seem like he's faced a team where his inability to make good, quick divisions is revealed.

UNC beat UConn 12-10 because Uconn's QB stepped out of the back of the endzone for a safety.

There was actually a holding call that was called in the end zone, result a safety, still they are ranked ahead of us, and looked much better on offense against East Carolina (ranked in some preseason polls).
I won't be surprised if we win, though I wouldn't be shocked with a loss either.

That's my point, I want to see how he responds under pressure.

Yeah, it was a little iffy too. I mean, it was definitely a hold, but not one blatant enough for most people to call it in the end zone.

Here's a video of the play for those who might want to see it. Go to the 0:40 mark. IMO the ref had no choice but to call it.

Caroliney looked a lot better yesterday though. Gonna be a tough game if we don't improve in all areas.

What are the odds that the triple option will generate points for 4 quarters? If the offense finally comes together, I think we will do well against UNC. If we can beat them, I don't think Miss. St. should be a problem.

Just have to wait and see.

I saw NC-ECU and the Heels looked good. Yates their QB will slice our pass defense up if he gets time. They have a big freshman WR who played well. Draughn the RB has good moves and speed and they have a good and fast defense. I don't see how we are favored. Another performance like part of the Clemson game and the Miami game won't beat anyone left on the schedule than perhaps Duke. What worries me is that what we have seen lately is really what we are.

That's a tough call, especially since it looks like the QB would have at least gotten the pass off before the DE would have gotten there if he wasn't held. It's also on UConn though. The OL has to know how important it is not to get close to holding when you're in the endzone. Your QB can typically at least scramble and get the ball off when pressured.
