I hope beamerball finds a way but it looks unlikely.

Maybe VT can finally put some real pressure on Harris. The only way I see VT coming out with a win is at least 1 defensive TD and 1 special teams TD along with a safety and a huge margin of victory in the turnover battle. While Miami acquires twice as many yards on offense.

I think Miami losing this one and beating OU makes the ACC look extremely good. Also, Miami losing this one, will probably slap them in the face and make them really focused on beating OU.

Not to mention help our chances at the ACCCG if we can get by VPISU.

Even if for some reason I knew I should pull for UGA, I don't think I would be capable of doing it. If we needed them to win for some reason, I don't think I would watch the game at all.

Moot point now that GT has a loss, but what if this scenario took place in the future:

You look at the GT schedule and see the potential for running the table. GT starts out the season 7-0, but cannot climb any higher than say #5 in the rankings --because the ACC is slow and nobody loves us.

The only other two undefeated teams at this point are Florida and say Texas.

Texas looks like worldbeaters and will probably run the table and win the Big 12 championship.

Florida's looking tough and the only potential loss showing up on their schedule prior to the SEC championship is UGA.

Would you pull for UGA?

I would. :ugh:

Certain things a person should not do, even for a major benefit. Have you ever seen Indecent Proposal?

It is very difficult to beat Va. Tech in Blacksburg. The crowd and the zebras will be in their corner. If Miami can win that one then they may be the real deal. I guess I will hope for a Va. Tech win because it will help our cause but I can't say I will be pulling for anyone in this one.

Go Jackets!

Nope. I'd pray that UF stomps UGA down into oblivion.

I see VPI winning. VPI doesn't look that bad, and the defenses Miami has been facing haven't exactly been that great on taking Harris down. FSU tried and didn't lose by much. We didn't, and we lost by a lot.
