Any thoughts? Anyone care? I think it will be interesting to see if Ole Miss deserves all the hype they've received this past offseason. South Carolina will be their first true test.

I hope USC demoralizes Ole Miss, and then flops in their very next game, just so the media will shut up about Ole Miss. They beat UF by 1 pt, and suddenly they are the media darlings.

Most of their hype is from smoking Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl.

If I have to watch South Carolina play again, I might jump off a bridge. I'm watching The Office.

On paper this appears to be a ho-hum matchup, howeva, this clash of SEC speeeeeeed* will set your retinas on fire.

*For those of you scoring at home, this is the first SEC Speed reference of the week. You may commence shooting your favorite liquor at this time.

I plan to start watching the game and then flipping to see how the new Flash Forward series is going to be, and then turning back to see how much more I can take of SEC biased announcers announcing a SEC game.

I don't mind the ESPN SEC TV contract in principle, but could they not be a little less conspicuous about it?

Thanks for reminding me, need to set my DVR for that when I get home. Looks good.

More than likely you won't flip back to the game.

The fact that I have seen more South Carolina games this year than GT games (missed Jax St.) means that it would be blasphemy to watch it. If I have to watch Garcia do something stupid and see Spurrier make the "pissed off face" again, I don't know what I'll do.

You're probably right. Unless USC is winning by 3 touchdowns when I flip away, I probably won't flip back. :)

College football > anything else that could possibly be on TV. I'll be watching.

I just hope I remember to tune in tonight. Since GT is not playing I might forget. Guess I'll use on of these yellow sticky-notes on my desk.

I have a simple formula for SEC interconference games: pull for the lower ranked team or unranked team. Always try to screw up there high ranked teams. With the exception of Vandy, I hate them all.

Lou Holthz picked Carolina to win tonight. He then went on a lithpy rant about how the U is back. And he actually used the word "thwagger." All this after picking against them last week. I can't stand Dr. Lou.

POSITIVE NOTE: They pointed out something I did not realize, which is that Va Tech is giving up an avg of over 200 rushing ypg. Seems like a good thing for us.
