You gotta imagine that traveling during the school week has some effect on the players.

I would have to say yes especially if they played on Saturday. So, if they're lucky they had a home game on Saturday.

Sun: Film
Mon: Practice
Tues: Practice
Wend: Travel
Thurs: Game

AND thats if they're lucky with a mid-day home game AND the away game isn't extremely far away... jet lag affects us all. Imagine if they had an away game at night, the players/coaches would lose Sunday also.

Not to mention they are student athletes and have a full class load.

MS to SC is an hour.

Nah...it's a bit farther. It's about hr and a half to Atlanta from MS and it's 45 minutes from there to Augusta and another puddle jumper from there to Columbia
