That's pretty funny someone is ripping me off on the AJC. I made a post there to him.
 
That was a tough unc defense. We missed some blocks but showed how to beat a good defense.

As for Blair, he finally missed one from under 40. He had a bad day. Glad it didn't matter. When it has mattered, he's 2 for 2.

As for the refs, they were worse than VT. The screw up at the end of the 1st half was the worst officiating I've seen in a long, long time.

As for BOR, why the hell would anybody copy that guy!

Looking at the stats, it appears we dominated, but being at the game, it didn't seem like it. I really had no idea at the end of the game that we ran that many more plays than UNC or had the ball over 42 minutes out of a 60 minute game. It just seemed to be a nailbiter to me and I was worried until the "math" of the clock made it impossible for UNC to catch us without scoring quick and getting an onside kick or two.

The missed opportunities in the red zone on the north end didn't help and I think led to the benching of Blair. No excuse for Blair, but also no excuse for a tough running team not to be able to punch it in. Coach Johnson said himself that something like this will come back to bite us in a closer game.

Who was Manget's kicking coach? He was damn good.

Credit to UNC's defense. We did dominate the stats and in the end the game, but it didn't LOOK that way because of the talent on UNC's defense. In a true blowout, you would see the other team's line easily manhandled and our offense rarely being stopped for loss or little gain. UNC has a lot of defense though and it's a lot of credit to CPJ that he put Dwyer and others in a position for many medium- and long-distance runs.
 
I liked the smile and clap he gave the official after the review overturned the Highsmith 'catch'. I think he had pent up frustration from some of the earlier bad calls. Wonder if it lead to even more bad calls....
