truly unbiased college football, with the SEC and the tie in with ESPN and big MONEY controlling the television time and the bias there may be a time not too far away where the chips dont fall but one way. I mean with all the hype and the perception that the Sec is 2nd only to the NFL, it will begin too if not already affect exposure if you are in another league. I am convinced an SEC team can move up in the polls 5 spaces with a bye week.:bowdown:
 
I think we'll find out this week if Tech beats MSU. I always find it incredible how LSU/UGA, et al have to play that murderous SEC schedule, but when Tech plays the same teams, they are called "patsies".

This is because an SEC team always plays tougher in conference games, because SEC teams care more about beating other SEC teams. Plus, they are "beaten up" from their last SEC game. Want proof? Miss. St held Auburn to just 3 points last year and gave up a bunch to us shortly thereafter. This proves that Mississippi State plays SEC teams tougher than they play non-SEC teams such as Georgia Tech. The same works in reverse. Oklahoma State was able to beat UGA because all non-SEC teams get up and play better when they play SEC teams, because they are so fired up about playing a team from the best conference. The rule in a nutshell is that all teams play better when they play SEC teams, including SEC teams. It's all pretty simple if you'd just think about it.

If not, get the SEC kool-aid out your nalgene bottle. Spit it out and rinse mouth for 10 minutes with water. If you still think this way after doing that, go to the nearest Poison Control Center to be cleansed.

It is marketing propaganda to a certain degree. But we got pretty good publicity by beating Georgia. I happen to think our ACC schedule is pretty rugged, but you couldn't convince many pundits that Miami, VPI, and Clempsen equate to Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss--or even Tennessee, Auburn, Georgia. And if something like FSU winning the ACC with 3 losses comes to pass it won't help the situation.

Not to mention the powerhouse Auburn team that Miss St held to 3 point was pre-season top 15.
 
I've watched football for a long long time. It has NEVER been this biased. NEVER.
