I never really sit down and watch the whole thing - mainley just stop for a few minutes to see if they have anything to say about Tech or the ACC. Just happened to hit the show right as they were talking about the Miss St. game and was happy the stars had alligned at that precise moment. The smile quickley faded as I realized that show is nothing but a bunch of UGA/SEC homers ripping on everyone who isn't in the SEC. Every comment they made about Tech (even the "good" ones) was half a dig at the team, the scheme, or the "lack of talent". One old fart - maybe the host - said that after the GT/Miss St. game he was concidering "demoting them to the ACC" What the hell kinda crap is that?! And they read an email from a fan in ATL that said "Give GT some respect! They have proven they can hang with the mighty SEC" To which Schlabach said something to the affect of "yeah okay, lets just forget about that LSU Chickfila bowl." I'm never watching those old farts again. They might as well be sitting in rockers on a rickety ole' front porch with a dip in their cheeks and a jug of firewater on their knee talking about the Herschel days. Last time I checked GT is, what, 3-1 against the mighty SEC from last season to this... I'd say that's pretty good... INCLUDING the LSU game.

As PJ said, you must earn respect.

Had we won the bowl game, we would be ranked top 15 right now and Miami would be even higher.... not that I care much for rankings.

Respect will be earned, but it is not an overnight thing.

If Miami, VT, and GT keep playing good football, the ACC will garner some respect. Until then, SEC reigns supreme.

The ACC deserves pretty much everything that is said about it right now. We're doing our part in non-conference games, but unfortunately the vast majority of the conference is not. Miami certainly stepped up this past weekend though.

Granted the ACC isn't the strongest conference, but i was talking about GT in particular. I think the way we play compared to the majority of the ACC demands more respect for our particular program. I guess I'm just fed up with all the SEC bull$ht. Really depressing seeing how their contract with every sports network just started. whammy.

I agree with this sentiment. Yes, the SEC is the best conference. No one can argue against that really. But what I hate are the SEC homers who think that all SEC teams are awesome because they are in the SEC and all teams not in the SEC suck because they aren't in the SEC. Not to mention, these guys who said that MSU shouldn't be in the SEC because they lost to GT. Who are they? SEC homers.

Haven't watched at all this year.

Last year they were pretty high on Tech...especially the old host guy.

Probably the same guys that were touting that MSU would destroy us 49-0 because they took the 'mighty' LSU to the wire.

I stopped watching that show too... After the UGA/GT game, I wanted to see highlights and it was all "Georgia gave up the lead and just couldn't get it done against GT"

and "Well, they beat them for seven straight, and I think they'll get back into that groove real soon..."

I turned off the TV with a sound "f*** you".
