Talking about Scooby-Doo's shortcomings thus far at Clemson

I don't see things going well for Dabo if he loses a couple more this year. I imagine he'll get all of this year, and next year he is firmly planted on the hot-seat.

If the offensive line is better, and Ford and Spiller are better, and there’s no reason to bench Parker in favor of Willy Korn, then the only other explanation for the Tigers’ offensive struggles is the one Swinney gave -- coaching.

Losing to Maryland is unacceptable. With as much talent as that Clemson program has, Dabo is pissing it all away. If they were smart, they would hire Tubberville.

Dabo is a good guy, but I think he's assistant coaching material. You can't lose to Maryland with that much talent.

Maryland practically handed them the game. In the 4th Q up 24-21, Fridge decided to go for 4th and 1 from their own 30 and failed to convert. I think Clemson promptly turned it back over.

I thought Clemson would be a decent team this year after the way they played us. I was wrong. They should have beat TCU, and Dabo should be fired for the Maryland loss. There's got to be enough yokels paying their ten a year to afford a buy-out.

I want to see what Willy Korn can do... put him in a game situation. This Parker kid was the sole reason for the turnover, trying to keep the ball alive by not putting his knee down instead of just taking the sack...

Clemson is definitely not the team that everyone thought they'd be. CJ Spiller is running rampant while the other 10 guys are standing around picking their noses...

So with Spiller and Best not being able to play well, do we have the best running back in the nation now?

Didn't CU miss a FG after that?

Regardless, when Fridge made that call, I figured that he was openly trying to get fired. The D played well for most of the game and I can only interpret his decision there as he was trying to lose.

If Clemson was smart they wouldn't be Clemson.

I stand my by stance(hrmm) that Clemson only gets all their "talent" and "potential" hyped up b/c it makes monetary sense to feed their huge fanbase this stuff. Magazine sales, internet ad clicks, etc.

When you look at the numbers, little ol' GT has 8 more players in the NFL than Clemson (23 - 15). How many times have we heard about "all the talent" at GT? Didn't think so...

Other schools with 15 NFL players?

UCF
Colorado
Fresno State
Hawaii(14)
Kansas State
etc...(only got to the K's)

How many of those schools do you hear getting their "talent" hyped up?

I know that NFL players isn't an end all be all for talent measurement, but I still think it's a pretty telling statistic.

Clemson had the ball three times on MD's 30 yard line 3 different times in the last 3 minutes. Missed two field goal and a sack/fumble to end game. Came away with no points.
