Hey Dems,

I was wondering what is the general feel of the guys yesterday and today. How did practice go this week? I remember you said otices weren't sharp the week leading up to Miami, so I was ur praccurious how our practices have been going this week. Besides that, have fun at the game. We are all pumped for this one.

Thanks,

I am not dems, but this sounds positive:

On Wednesday, in Georgia Tech’s final major workout in preparation of Florida State, Johnson said his team had what he felt “might have been one of the best” practices it has had all year.

thats what coach said before last year's Miami game... and that in the locker room they were so prepared that he could feel it.

GT: 41
FSU: 23

I have no idea what will happen with these two teams, but we need to thrash FSU like there's no tomorrow. Remember all those 49-3 and 38-0 wins over us in the 90's? We need to hang one of those on the Noles. You know, utter destruction... biblical proportions.

It would be nice if this game tonight turned out to be "the final nail" in Bowden's coffin. Or the straw that broke the camel's back for the FSU Firing Board.

Damn. Thanks man. This makes me feel very confident. The ONLY week when Coach said our practices were OK, i.e. not that great, was before Miami. Before UNC and before MSU, he stated explicitly that we were doing great at practice. Before Clemson, I didn't really hear anything.

I am still worried. But this news makes me feel much better about tonight. Any word on Egbuniwe? Is he going to be playing. I love that guy. He will help a TON with QB pressure if he recovered from his sickness and will be playing.

I believe Egbu is still out.

This is the most nervous I've been about a game this year. Against Miami I thought for sure that their FSU win was a fluke and that our lackluster offensive production beforehand was a fluke.

We seem to have caught up to ourselves at least a little, still not sold on Miami.

We did have a good week of preparation. The staff is hoping this is the game we put a complete game on both sides of the ball together. The key is the first 5 minutes settting the tempo with an early lead and not letting FSU gain any confidence. The players are ready, they know what's at stake and can get our first win here.

It's hot down here, 83 already. Approaching 90 later and we might have some storms roll in.

We also had quite possibly the worst hotel ever. No one is happy about the choice and situation. It's really been a bad experience all around.

Do you think the hotels could affect play? Any news on Egbu?

I was terrified against Miami and already knew we would lose. This time, I'm pretty confident in a W, but wouldn't be surprised if we find a way to lose.

****! I hate ****ty weather on the beach (yes, I know Tally's not quite the beach, all you anal posters).

I'm a little concerned for Coach Paul's attitude after his apparent slapdown after his UNC rant. What do you think?

I think we rock!

So you're confident that we could find a way to lose?

If you confident in the W, say it; don't qualify your comment.

I'm confident that we win tonight--after the pregame circus, the team that executes better will win. We are much better coached and ready.
