I just logged in on rambling wreck and saw this:

I thought they wouldn't sell guest tickets if student tickets sold out.

Just speculating here, but I know that general tickets aren't sold out, so why not sell them at a reduced price to students if we don't anticipate a sellout?

Tech fund tickets are sold out now as well. We need to get the rest of these tickets taken up. VT might not be traveling as well because of their loss in ATL earlier this year.

ooo I didn't take that into account. People wont want to make the trip twice... good point.

Thats not to say no VT fan would make the trip twice, but it definitely is something to consider.

Is it true that the student tickets are now on the buzz cards?

yeah you get a proof ticket that can't be scanned, but you get your buzzcard scanned and it registers as one ticket, and if you have a guest you scan it twice.

but you have to order your ticket online onto the buzzcard... its not like you can just walk up to the gate and it's a free entry with a buzzcard
