Beamer Looks Like...

I have no problem with making fun of how Beamer looks in a general sense. But Beamer's a great guy---don't be classless and harp on the burns (call me a bleeding heart, but burns suck). We don't want to start a shooting war with our friends from Blacksburg. A slow simmer is better. Let's save our classlessness for U[sic]GA, because no matter what we do, we'll always be classier than the mutts.

This is over the line, lacking class and due respect. Even if Beamer weren’t a great guy, which he is, this makes us look horrible. This gives others reason to hate us the same way we hate gaggers. Particularly if our team and program reaches the heights we’re all hoping for, I fear our fan base becomes the arrogant jerks that we've come to hate up 78, or like those we’ve endured from Tallahassee and Miami. Numerous posts on how those guys are jerks, and how we’re impressed with the friendly fans we’ve seen in Starkville, or South Bend, but then we do this kind of thing? I believe we’re above this. Please prove me right.

On this board or any other, and certainly in person, do whatever you can to represent our fan base and our school well, and taking a cue from our players getting mugged by the criminoles late in the game last week, try to show class and respect for others even if they don't have enough class to show it to you. Help everyone to learn and know GT is as good as we know it is.
