I didn't see it anywhere else on here but did anyone else want us to decilne the holding penalty that called back FSU's touchdown with +/- 2 min. to go in the first half?

I know you can't do that but it allowed them to run the rest of the time off of the clock. Otherwise we get the ball down 7 with 2 minutes to score and get the ball to start the second half.

I never thought that I would want to decline a penalty on an opposing team touchdown.

No, but I wanted us to start calling our timeouts. If we had used our timeouts on that drive we could have gotten the ball back with about two minutes to go instead of like 17 seconds. And then when we did get the ball back, we actually tried to score, not just kneel it down. Very, very odd in my opinion.

It was discussed before, but I agree. We all knew F$U was going to punch it in; it was just a matter of time.

My son went to FSU. I wanted us to score at the end and put half a hundred on 'em.

I was thinking the same thing after Nesbitt ran for the final first down.

I was thinking that 56-44 sounded much better than 49-44....but a win is a win. :)

But a 49-44 win sounds a lot better than a 50-49 loss after a possible fumble :p.

I would have only liked that if we would have kicked an on side kick after it, gone shotgun and thrown it into the endzone a few times to end the game.:laugher:

They would have missed the pat? :)

And I know that's why we did it, and I agree with it, better safe than sorry.

Remember that Baylor-La Tech game 7 or 8 years ago, or whoever it was playing. Team was up and tried to tack one on at the end for an exclamation point. They fumbled and the otehr team took it back 100 yards for the game winning score.

I am PERFECTLY FINE with taking that knee each and every time when the game is locked up.

We should of just used out time outs. You never give the other team a touchdown if it's called back though, because you never know what will happen the next play, etc.

I know you can't do it. I was hoping to hold them to a field goal which we almost did until we had D. Morgan in coverage.

I would have liked to use the timeouts.
