what to put in the flask on saturday?

I'm big on scotch whiskey. My favorite budget scotch is Grand Macnish, though I do have a hard time finding it. There is a liquor store in Memphis that always carries it, but other than that, it's a crap shoot.

I can't speak for the other gates, but at the student gate they're basically feeling us up. I once asked the security guard if he would at least take me to dinner first... He wasn't very amused.:laugher:

Exactly, the only way to get things past some of those dudes on the north end is to tuck them under your nutsack. At the UNC game, it was like airport security. They had even separated out the students entrance from the general public entrance and still searched me.

At FSU over the weekend, I could have probably walked in with just about anything. They just scanned and let me through.

I saw a guy in front of me vs. UNC (in the student line) get caught with a flask and two mini flasks, and the cop just looked at him and said, "I'm sure there's more I'm not finding, but I'd rather not look. Have fun" and let him in.

I think the best way to get a flask in is to have a girl sneak it in under her dress.

Turkey 101. The only way to go. Lets just say, if your in the Jackets Nest, you'll know who I am. Look for the 1972 GT scarf. I'm gettin drunk and crunk and will be talking mad $hit to VT fans smaller than me.

i love captain, but sailor jerrys is better for football games. its 92 proof and taste almost as good. if i'm bringing rum into a game its gotta be jerrys.

The Captain has a new brew - its 100 proof. That's my beverage of choice when watching the Jackets from home - mixes great with Red Bull Cola.

But I put grain in my flask. Mixes with anything and lasts a good long time.

what are yall guys using? i usually go with sailor jerry's, but thinking about changing it up this week. what do yall think?

For someone who drinks sailor on a regular basis, you should know that the name of it is Sailor Jerry. No 's

I drink the cheapest thing I can get, for example for Bourbon I like Ancient Age. But my wife brought home some Makers Mark Saturday and its pretty smooth.

However on Saturday I am driving up and back usually so just imbibe on a few light beers at the gate and nothing after the game starts. That way I can drive home after the game safely.

I'm a big fan of scotch whisky as well (esp the Highland and Speyside region scotch whiskies). Currently working on a 18 year old Fine Oak Macallan that was a gift from my father-in-law after a business trip to Europe. However, this is more of a sipping whisky well complimented with a nice cigar.

For the game, I'll have a flask of Elijah Craig bourbon. Not the best bourbon I've ever had, but certainly for the money ($18-20/fifth) it's great! Pour it over a couple ice cubes, and I'm good to go.......damn I can't wait till Saturday! See y'all at the game.

GO JACKETS!

Ol' Rip makes a game special

If you're a fan of Rip, try his older, more refined family member, Pappy van Winkle Family Reserve 20 yr. Hands down the best bourbon I've ever tasted- and I consider myself to be well tasted. A bit pricey, though.

I second that, Damn fine bourbon!

RVW a good choice as well. Running low on my bourbon now, so I might just have to go pick up a bottle of "Pappy".....

Just be sure, if you want to throw your flask or cup o' rum & coke out onto the field, do not aim for the photographers. They're innocent. I smelled nasty at the Clemson game after Burnett was called for the late hit.

Hell, sounds like the best way to sneak me in.
