Buy up the tickets

Contact, don't make fun of people for buying late while asking people to buy late... We gotta be happy that they are filling this stadium up. Saturday is HUGE!

Real fans would realize how fortunate they are to still have the opportunity to buy a ticket for ANY seat. There are UGA fans that make fun of our attendance because they can't get into their own games...

They deserve to be made of

I can't believe people are complaining about having to attend:

- tickets are too much. Be happy you can get in the gate for face value. The same can't be said for most big time programs especially with a top 10 opponent coming in.

- Seats aren't in a great location That's what you get for buying at the last minute. Believe it or not, you're not going to get 50 yard line seats when you buy <48 hrs before the event.

- The metal bleachers irritate my vagina

Take two midol and call us in the morning.

The only tickets left are in the sections we allot to vistors. So we have 1000 left because VT didn't sell out its sections. Not surprising with them already in Atl once.

Im bringing a date to the game (UGA fan).. She will be dressed in gold. Already confirmed!!!

+1 for the good guys!!

The best tickets available are 213, row 34... I asked for as much as 6 of them. Thats the away section. Its still not excusable to not sell out. Get to the game, be as loud as you can! Less than 48 hours until war!

Good work...That would be awesome to partially take over the visiting section as well. Anything to minimize the damn keys every 3rd down, and those ****ing lunch pails

This surely has to be the most prominent game at BDS since 2002. Notre Dame in '06 comes close, but it lost its luster after it became obvious that ND was very overrated in '06. I can't remember the last time a game had so many implications that was played in Atlanta. Maybe Boston College '07?

Funny how they have one of the student sections right next to the away section. Probably not a wise decision if GT wants VPI people leaving with any sort of respect for our school. But whatever. I know I'll be screaming my lungs out throughout the game. I'll be over in Section 217

i've done my best by setting up a tailgate party. i sent out an e-vite to all my friends. i figure if i can get them down there with free food and booze, then maybe i can get some of them to go ahead and pick up tickets and go to the game.

little trickeration.

I've got me plus a handful more. At least 3 who already have tickets, 1 or 2 more who will prolly make a saturday morning decision(lukewarm fans, if you will)

what's that?
Scalpers got some fake tickets.

I scalped tickets for the clemson game...turned out they were part of a lot of like 500 that were purchased with a stolen credit card.

Was super pissed when I found out, but I helped the GTPD catch the guys who did it so in return my officer buddy got me into the game.

I have heard the rumor that the tickets left are tickets given back by VT for not selling their allotment, is there any truth to this? I kinda find this hard do believe.

I doubt they sold their full allotment. They brought ~ 35K fans to Atlanta on Labor Day weekend for the Alabama game.

Regardless - Until the GT Fanbase sells our entire ticket allotment for the games played in Blacksburg, we can't pass judgment on the VPI fans.

And for the biggest home conference game we have had in 10 years.... GT Fans should be buying every available ticket out there on the market.

I see your point, but do you see the difference between a weekend in Blacksburg and a weekend in Atlanta?

After two trips to Blacksburg myself, I'm well aware of the difference between weekends in SW Virginia and Atlanta.

I just don't think we should criticize any other fanbase about ticke sales. Especially when GT was lucky to sell ~1K of tickets the last time I was up there and VT fans gobbled up all the rest and turned the "visitors sections" into VT sections.
