VT hasn't sold all of its allotted tickets...

I heard on Facebook that VT hasn't even sold the tickets that it's been allotted for the southeast corner and the upper level of the north endzone...

can anyone find a source for this other than FB?
does this mean that it's actually Georgia Tech fans buying up and selling out the stadium?! :eek5:
 
Keep in mind, long distance tractor driving is tough in colder weather, and it's supposed to be pretty chilly saturday. This might keep 80-90% of their fanbase away.
 
This has been discussed elsewhere lots of times.... but it's up to our fans to buy them up. VT already brought ~35K fans to Atlanta for the Alabama game.

Our biggest home conference game since FSU in 1998. If anyone is still on the fence after what happened last Saturday night in Tallahassee, I don't know what they are waiting for.
 
The seats available are in the vt sections... North upper, row 34 and up last
night... So I assume you are correct.

I doubt its true, yesterday morning there was seats available in nearly every section in the corners and upper north. There will be alot of maroon there tomorrow.
