NC State Roadtrip

alright i guess i'm going without the other 2 losers. i'd love to tailgate with whoever's going to be there. i'm still leaving sat morning.

GT flunkout, how many are going with you?
 
probably will be 3 of us. Taking the hitch grill as usual.
 
Any advice on where to go to scalp? I live in the area, but this'll be my first time to a State game.

By the way, having grown up in Winston-Salem you could only be referring to the great "Dixie Classic Fair" which is not the state fair. Anyway, i hope you have a great time!
 
i think i might just get the tickets from stubhub. they're 75 but it beats driving 7 hours to risk not getting tickets to save $20.
 
I'm making this trip again this year. It's usually a pretty decent trip. Leaving after work on Friday, possibly with one other, and driving to a friend's house in Charlotte. We'll drive up and back from Charlotte to Raleigh on Saturday.

The worst time I had was when we parked at the fairgrounds and were accosted by rednecks in like 2000. Since then, I've parked at the RBC center (looks like that's all reserved parking now?) and at Cardinal Gibbons High School once or twice, and in some giant pasture the last time we went up there.

There is no risk of not getting one. It will probably cost $20-40 to scalp them.

4 flying in Sat AM. Section 3 - Row DD ( maybe a good omen for Daniel D.... HA ) . Flying out Sun at noon. Any not to be missed, killer places to eat that night ? Not fancy .... Any info on GT tailgating locations ? How strict are they on open containers outside the stadium ?

The game has been sold out for a long time actually, but there will be plenty of tickets floating around.
 
Gonna miss this one. Gotta go celebrate the anniversary with the wife. Yeah... yeah... fall weddings. I'm 5 years too late to get a do over on the date.
 
I could get you in for free...if I were going...we could sneak through as concession venders or get a media pass....

seriously walk up to the sat trucks before the game and say youre there as a contract PA....ask for the producer to get credentials....WORKS like a charm
