Good Article on JfT

Jemea was the player spotlighted on the CPJ TV show hoested by Wes this past week. Very soft-spoken, seemingly humble guy, and more country than Tevin Washington ever dreamed of being. Definitely my latest favorite player on the team.

It is looking more like a poor decision for PJ and Groh to redshirt Jemea last season. His defense and special teams play could very well have swung a few of our close losses in our favor.

Jemea wasn't ready last year..he's said that the redshirt year is one of the best things that happened to him.

Plus guys like Mario Butler and Edwards were much older and experienced..he would have only been used on special teams...I think we're all glad we have him for another two years instead of one.

Nice try Bonham, but JfT couldn't have prevented us from fumbling and false starting every other play past year.

If he keeps progressing the way he has he'll likely leave after next year as he'll be one of the top Dbs in the country.

Uhhhh, maybe his play this year is a direct result of being redshirted last year?

states there were academic issues as well. Without that redshirt he MAY NOT HAVE BEEN in school this year.

Seriously? How did you allow yourself to submit that post, knowing perfectly well just how broken your thought was?

It sure would have been nice to have Jemea on the kickoff coverage unit in the VT game last year when they returned the 4Q kickoff for a touchdown.

But in hindsight, I suppose it was a great call to have Jemea redshirt rather than have to compete with all-star players like Cooper Taylor for playing time.

I'm just not exactly sure why the coaching staff doesn't hire you as a consultant before making its decisions. Your ability to pinpoint the exact problem after it occurs is impeccable.

They really should have. I had some good thoughts to share with them on the QB situation as well.

I'm not trying to join the anti bonham man-love festival here, so don't take this as a mocking question, because I am seriously interested in the answer. You seem to be pretty anti redshirt, is there anyone on the team right now you'd redshirt? Do you have a set of criteria for when a redshirt should be used?
