How many points do we score against VT?

The VT line is VT as favorite by 7 points currently, that's down from the 9 it was back in May. The over under is around 50 points, so that suggests something like VT 28 - GT 21. I don't think 50 points are scored in this game unless from turnovers or overtime.

Or unless Vad Lee plays.

In seriousness, I think that line would fall further if we didn't play them in the first game of the season. Our offense should be potent this year even if it's not 2009ish. Really if we had a proven target at WR it'd be much different. I still think it might move some more as news comes out of fall camp.
 
I think we win 27-21. But they get a late TD in garbage time. I just see their offensive line getting overwhelmed. They have one of the youngest OL in the league.

I think that will give our O extra time of possession. I also see us going for it more often on 4th because of their O (think what BYU did to us Reggie's first year).

VT OL is young in terms of starting experience, but it's not young in terms of years in the program:

I would say VT has a very experienced line, but not talented. If they were that talented, they would have started all these years they were backups.

It's pretty much the exact opposite of what you're saying. They have some quality recruits from the past 2-3 years that are stepping up into starting roles this season - they just don't have any starting experience. They've played some in the last year or two, but not much. Plus you've got to factor in some injuries and wonder how much depth they have behind these inexperienced guys.
