Can someone please tell me what the deal is with him. Is he enrolling in the spring? Was it grades?

I sure hope he and Devine are everything we've been hoping for.

Can't give you a definitive answer, but PJ said on one of the radio shows when asked about the B-back position that he is expecting a guy to enroll in the spring. He couldn't say the name, saying "but I think everyone knows who it is." Almost surely referring to Custis.

Custis will be here for spring practice. Just had some issues from Lovejoy that are corrected now.

Some if not all clips may be sped up. But check out the run at 5:00.

Since he did not enroll in the fall, Custis could still redshirt in 2014. Unless something happens to Laskey or Snoddy, that might be the best strategy. He'll have spring to get started in the system, but he'll have a hard time winning enough carries next year to make it worth losing the extra year.

Custis will not be redshirting as a freshman. Unless he gets injured, he will share time with Laskey at BB.

Laskey will be a 1000 yard rusher next year if he stays healthy. I think Custis will pass Snoddy for the #2 spot. It was easy to see why Snoddy doesn't see the field that much by the way he ran the ball in the A&M game. Too much east west running. I really hope they move him back to AB.

We need some lineman that can block and some backs to take advantage of what holes they make. We do not have a break away back since Godhigh is graduating.

We have a few that could step into that void. Days and Perkins could end up being the next badass at aback.

I'm curious about what will happen with snoddy. He isn't the typical guy you see at bback, so I'm wondering if we spread the field more to get him in space.

If Custis can't pass Laskey on the depth chart, then we have officially whiffed on Custis.

I think some on here should explain why in gawd's sake, a 4-star RB with offers from Clemson, Miami, and Michigan State, would opt to come here and play in a system that can't attract high profile players.

Right, because not passing a 4th year player (who has gotten significant playing time for two years and done well) in your first year on campus surely means you are a bust. I think Custis has a good shot at passing Laskey, but in no way will that be a negative on Custis if he doesn't.

We have to play Custis as soon as he gets on campus. He'll only play two years since he'll be eligible to turn pro 3 years after his HS class graduates

A wonderful if farfetched idea. That would put in ahead of Dwyer,,hmmmmm
I'll be estatic if he is a solid backup to Laskey next yr.bback is NEW position to him

I would be shocked if a healthy Custis doesn't get a lot of playing time. Big running back with speed, shiftiness, and balance.

Thats a bit dramatic I think.

Laskey will start as a Senior unless his blocking continues to stay stagnant and Custis picks it up quickly.

There has never been anything wrong with laskey's production running the ball...excellent YPC and gets downhill quickly.

I'd love to see Snoddy bumped outside for an a-back, jet sweep WR sort of play. He'd be quick to the perimeter.
