Joseph Bulovas

You better watch what you say around here mister. As Stingtalkers, we must band together. With every passing second, the importance of this thread grows. I must hand it to you though, you really know how to tick people off.
Nice avatar.

Go Pats.

Bulovas, Above us, Around us, and Inside Us: A Tragic Romance

...

It wasnt the games where I felt the closest to him, it was the practices. The games were for everyone; the entire stadium, the TV cameras, the highlight reels. But the practices were for us. Watching his graceful approach to the kick over and over. His standing leg as firm as the Bama dynasty itself, while his kicking leg thumped the ball like a drunken ex-mrs kiffin hitting some D.

If ever he missed, you could see that he was giving himself the angriest Look of Saban(tm) internally, and chiding himself, even taunting himself ..."you'll never earn a scholarship going wide left, dumbass," you could imsgine him saying to himself. Bulovas was not one for being easy on himself, it was his dedication showing through again.

It was at one of those practices that I realized, should we need a FG to beat the 17-pt spread late in the game... if Saban called on him, he could be the one to save us.

Guess we needed more like I Perfection Harris and Pack Man Jones. The legends grow on.

Paying money to lower his earning potential. Might have fallen off the M-Train anyway?

He’s getting a quality Alabama education. Hopefully he’s in one of their more prestigious majors, like exercise science or family studies.

He's waiting patiently for his time to come.

He got his national championship ring, I suppose, even though he contributed nothing. I thought his high school stats were crap anyway once someone posted them.

I'd much rather have the kicker that just walked on and calls GT his dream school. Those guys are a rare breed of football player.

So the coaches were wrong to have offered him to start with?
