Gary Patterson Is A Fool

Hope we never face that ööööer.

Also, we need to be recruiting 6 from that video.

Can you imagine if we had that guy for our DC.

We'd never lose another game.

My biggest complaint with CPJ’s 3-O is that there doesn’t seem to be a plan B. When it is being completely stonewalled, then that’s pretty much a wrap for us. Not that this thread is about that, just an observation.

Agree with this. It’s like we have the foundation offense and forgot to build any escape routes.

We have it. We just aren’t very good at it. Our WR corps are about as bad as we’ve had under CPJ. Hopefully we have some guys waiting in the wings.

When any offense gets its ass handed to them, it’s the same exact feeling.

Sometimes a change at QB can be your best plan B no matter what offense you’re running. See Rohan Davey or last year’s MNC game.

By the way, our defense sure looked a whole lot more athletic in 2000 than it did in 2017.

My biggest complaint with Breaking Bad is that the writers seem to use cheap tricks to generate suspense. When you get to the end and are dying to know what all those black and white shots of people in biohazard gear have been leading up to, it's a big disappointment. Not that this thread is about that, just an observation.

Lol. TCUs defense can’t be ready to face normal offenses when all they doing is defending triple option concepts. Their defense can’t even practice against a real triple option offense. Tcu dead.

My biggest complaint with Gailey’s pro-style offense was when it was getting stonewalled, there was no plan B.

Also, Clemson’s RPO spread offense. And Fedora’s hurry up. Rich Rod’s shotgun TO. Fridge’s multiple and Leach’s air raid also.

You do what you do. We have a two minute drill. It needs a possession receiver. We haven’t had one since Smelter/Waller. iiwii.

See Paul could run shotgun and his 3O if he wanted to per Patterson. And that would let us recruit 5 * QBs. Paul doesn’t want us to be happy on purpose.

“Ohio State doesn’t run the read zone. They run the veer. Their QB doesn’t go sideways; they move up with the read, which is like almost where a QB is if he stepped back underneath center on the read. So you gotta understand, you gotta make the kids understand. And Texas does the same thing [under head coach Tom Herman, a former Urban Meyer OC]. They got a lotta veer scheme, more or as much as they have zone-read scheme.”

You see a modern spread attack from the shotgun, but Patterson just sees another option offense, like the countless ones he has taught his defenders to stuff over the years.”

When was Gailey's offense *not* stonewalled? Hell, we'd grind out 24 points against FCS, three yards at a time. 6 f-ing points against WF with Calvin Johnson on the field was amazing.
