Dabo got paid

Football as we know it has about a ten year shelf life. I suspect some really damning medical news will come out in the next couple of years that will topple the present house of cards. Wholesale collapse, especially in the colleges.

The recent CTE studies of former NFL players (even punters!) was already pretty damning medical news.

Already, youth programs are ending due to not being able to afford the additional expense of liability insurance since a) the total cost isn't known or can be estimated and b) the duration of such claims in the future.

Ultimately, I'm not sure that this will effect college football as it just means a potentially smaller pool of players to recruit from. The bigger issue for the collegiate athletics arms' race is what happens if the TV dollars don't continue to go up or if they decline when contracts are set to be renewed.

The recent CTE studies are not damning. Did you read them? They’re the exact opposite. Finding people with CTE with no reported head trauma...

Outside of Bama being his Alma Mater, there's literally no reason to go there. It's all risk with no reward as long as things stay the way they look like they will in Clemson.

No Alabama ever.
I say this in all honesty... I'd take Kirby Smart over that guy every day of the week and twice on Sunday. 2 NC in 10 years when you're playing in the ACC ain't much to brag about. Kirby will have 3 or 4 by then I bet. And that's playing in a conference that is at least 30-40% more harder than the ACC.

You’re 30-40% dumber than the average VolNation poster.

I now seriously doubt you are a dwag fan. Which one is your other name on the board?

IOW, you are happy being mediocre.

And deluded about quality of play.

Got it.

Techbert,
trying to understand how multiple national championships are ever easy but Georgie just can't seem to get one per lifetime!

So Clempson didn't just obliterate an SEC team? Did we watch the same game?

Dude the ööööing Cavs blanked South Carolina. Cavman violated Muschamp with his rusty scabbard, and we're hearing about how weak the ACC is
