2020 Recruiting

Next year if we go 11-1, you’ll be here bitching about the one. öööö off.

Scumbag moved worked for him on signing day. 4 4star receivers signed for them.
They'll squander them too, at least any that arent big enough to play TE with that not-pro style run first offense of Kirbys. And then they will throw them under the bus.

Guys, UNCheat hit the QB freshman jackpot with Sam Howell, and even they only went 6-6. Going to a bowl game would be an accomplishment next year. We were next to last in P5 (ahead of Arkansas) in yards rushing allowed per game. We're still undermanned there. I think we play better, but I don't know if that will show up with a lot of wins yet. There should be closer games than 52-14, 45-0 and 52-7. That's a start. If one of the QBs suddenly turns into Howell, and the OL avoids injuries and improves, we're still not talking about 12-0 or 11-1.

I like the idea but I don't think recruits would. Better to build up your players than tear other people down.

You could do it other ways: form a Florida LLC in Gainesville, then take out billboards between ATL and Athens during OV weekends like the following:
  • A message from the Athens Police: We arrest more college football players than any other police force in America. We're watching you.
  • UGA has the lowest percentage of 4 and 5 star players drafted by the NFL. Plan accordingly. - Athens Local 503 HVAC Union
  • Hey Kirby: Win it next year or you're out. - UGA Football Fans
  • It's been 2 hours. You're almost to Athens.

I would be happy with 5-7 if most of the losses are competitive.

6 + bowl game is a minimum to be happy for me. 5 would be neutral. 4 or less would be tough to deal with.

Overall it’s another tough schedule. Clemson, uga, ND, and UCF outside our own division - all four with 9+ wins this year. But we play in a manageable division, have GW, and get Cuse from the Atlantic. Vegas will probably give us 4.5 as the O/U.

Our expected wins probably jumps to 7.5 or 8 in 2021 though.

Going 5-7, I'll be happy if there's the same attitude around the program this time next year regardless of who the 7 are or by what margin.

I want to see clear improvement. I’m not putting a win total bogey on it. Should not have games like VT where we are totally outmanned in year 2. Want to be competitive in most games deep into the 2nd half. As was stated, the schedule is insane next year....which is why I don’t feel comfortable saying we must go bowling or it’s a failure. Most of these middling bowl teams totally puss out when scheduling opponents.
