Yeah crying in Kirby’s arms after losing in 8th OT was a bad look. But Brent Key is an emotional guy and as much as he hates uga he probably doesn’t hate Kirby like we do. They played against each other. They probably know each other. Better thing to do would have been to keep your tears until you get to the locker room but whatever. The guy has done what we haven’t been able to do against uga in a long time and the future is bright even if it sucks balls tonight.

Really embarrassing shit. Really poor look for Key to be crying to the other coach.
 
Didn't see the postgame exchange because there's only so much masochism I'm willing to engage in. Have no ill feelings toward however Key reacted, though. He's resurrected a program that appeared on life support a couple years ago, and was just dealt what may have been the most gut-wrenching loss he's ever experienced.

There's blame to go around, from execution errors to shoddy/soft coverage late to questionable calls, but it would be ridiculous to come with pitchforks for the guy who helped get us in this position in the first place.
 
Key was choked up because he was more disappointed with this loss than any of you fucks.

Like him or not, Kirby was offering Key some kind words and they shared a coaches moment. Yeah we don’t need Kirby’s respect, öööö the dawgs. But let Key feel the sting from this loss and come back stronger.

Can’t imagine saban or oleary with that look. Didn’t look great. This has nothing to do with key making progress. Or being upset. Just can recall saban crying on malzahns shoulders; or chiziks. Can u? Or the time cpj or oleary broke down on richts or donnans shoulders

It’s a new age. Not all leaders are the same. That was a tough one though. Especially when you consider they had been planning this since not letting Haynes throw for 3 weeks.

We weren't on life support. We were coding and somehow we have emerged from the depths of hell.

You would not believe how many UGA fans were complementary of Key and showed a lot of respect for him and our team. Said he's building something big at Tech. None of the gaggers near me when clown was coaching ever said that. Not a single one.
