Does anybody know who the quarterback was that was wearing the #1? He was a white kid--I was just watching him throw and I was VERY impressed with his throwing motion and the accuracy of his throws. He's definitely a good athlete too because I saw him make a pretty sweet one handed grab too.

Thanks Damarius! How'd you get your info?
He's a 1 star my ass. I watched most the QB's and he was the only one that consistently hit his man in the chest.

I also watched the camp, and i was familiar coming into the camp with who was attending. He did perform very well, and he had the best on the field presence out of all the quarterbacks. I hope we can land this prospect.

sounds like someones got some insider action going on! can we be friends? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif what other notables were there? the ones that come to mind are:
Nesbitt
Donley
King
Dwyer
Clayton
S. Monroe
feel free to divulge. I know everyone here would appreciate it! Thanks!

The reason he's a one star is because he hasn't been evaluated by the recruiting services. Our chances of landing him are only fair.

Claton is actually Clator. He seems to like Ohio St. as his dad lives in Ohio. King will probably be a grade casualty.

I'll take you one step further. It is actually Claytor, not Clator. :-)

Threet is the real deal, there were also HS coaches present that said Threet was the best QB there and looked like excellent D1-BCS conference material.

Lets put it this way. I was watching from the stands at the GT beesball game and was just sitting there thinking--GAWD I hope the coaches are seeing what I'm seeing. I was actually watching the coach to see if he was watching Threet.

check out the picture--look familiar?

OK. I'll play. He looks to me like Philip Rivers in the face. I never saw Rivers w/o pads that I can remember, so I can't comment on body type. Threet lokes like a hoss though.

Can anyone give me a report on the action at the camp? How was it conducted and who else stood out besides Threet.

Dwyer ran a 4.38 at the camp. Wow. Btw..I have found track meet results on the internet where he went head to head with Everson in the 200m and beat him each time.

I hope Brandon Helwig does not mind me paraphrasing his interview, but to give you an idea of what happened at camp...Dwyer said that Gailey was heavily involved, giving advice in 7-on-7 drills, eating lunch with the players, position coach meetings, and overall coordinator meetings divided into defense and offense. All the way with coaches heavily involved and working with players individually.
