Would it be possible to upload your full simulcast or send me a copy? Somewhere in my 7 year old mind I remember hearing Al's original call, but I'd love to hear it again!

Easier to do than you might think. I uploaded it to Rumble. The DVD has both versions on it, the one with the radio simulcast, and the one with the TV announcers. Below is a link to the radio simulcast. If you want the other one as well, then I think you can do a search for it in Rumble. If you want to see that version but can't find it, let me know, and I will post the link for that one too. But for now, here is the link to the radio simulcast. Enjoy !!!

So when they were asking for footage they used what you gave them? Pretty cool!

The very first day I used this site, I saw a post asking if anybody had a recording of the radio broadcast for that game. Oddly enough, the person who made that post is no longer registered here, at least not under the name he used then. I recorded the two versions of the game live as it was broadcast. I originally used VCR, but when DVD burners became available, I bought one and transferred the VCR recordings to DVD. Over the years, I gave copies of it to friends and family, but I really hadn't even thought of it in years. So I PM'd that guy, and he got me in touch with a guy in Charlotte who was working on the special for Raycom. I sent both of them DVD's, and they were thrilled to get it, and one of them also sent a copy to Andy Demetra. Rather than continuing to mess around with DVDs, I subsequently uploaded both versions to Rumble and am now using that link to share with others. I have no idea how much, if any, they will use, but the Charlotte guy said they would include my name in the credits at the end. Now I have got to figure out how to record the special. As of last weekend, WOW (my cable provider in Augusta) added the ACC Network to it's listings, and this week, I swapped out my DVR's for streaming modules. If anybody has any idea how to download a stream for saving, please let me know. I had told Ken Suguira of the AJC about the upcoming special and my contribution to it this week in and email, and he let me know this afternoon that the special was now on the schedule. I am really looking forward to seeing it, with or without my contribution.
 
Damn, I just found out that the producers of the special opted not to use any of the Al and Kim radio broadcast in the special. I am sorta pissed off, since Al and Kim were such a vital part of Tech football back then. But at least as a result of digging out that 30+ year old DVD I made, quite a few people have been able to see the game with the simulcast of the radio broadcast.

They asked for my 1990/1991 yearbook and any other memorabilia from that win. Some game win shirts, the yearbook, and your DVD's were sent to Raycom here in charlotte. I haven't received anything back yet.

I was in class w Scott Scission and we keep in touch. He was thrilled to see the merged video.

That was a hell of a lot of work and coordination for them not to use anything in the special.

Why does it say your account is deleted? I thought maybe you had quit this site. I even asked Scott today about you, and he said he hadn't heard anything from you lately. I am sort of pissed that they aren't using any of my video. Oh, well, it is what it is.

Wow. Just hearing Al Ciraldo and Kim King again is special to me. I really appreciate you posting this.
